Mescal Designs

Mescal and Don Taylor are designers of artistic jewelry made mostly in silver with handmade lampwork beads. They take pride in their simple yet elegant artistic designs.

The name MESCAL is a family name of Native American origin. Mescal's grandfather named her aunt 'Mescal' after a character in a Zane Gray novel.

In 2002, after over 43 years in the art retail industry in California, this husband and wife team began exploring creative ways to use silver and handmade lampwork beads in jewelry design. They have been expanding their line over the last few years and feel it is starting to reflect what they had in mind.

Mescal Designs are represented exclusively on Maui by Sargent’s Fine Jewelry in Lahaina where Mescal was featured in a one person show in May of 2006.
