Mauimoon

Mauimoon creates unique handmade beaded lampwork and handblown glass jewelry made on Maui.

Glass artist and designer Martina Dodson moved from Sweden to Maui in 1996 where she taught the art of flameworking. In Maui she was greatly inspired to create a new line of unique artwork.

All stones used in Mauimoon jewelry are semi-precious gemstones and Swarovski crystal. The glass used is Pyrex glass and it is very strong. The sparkly glass inside the pendants is a color-changing glass called dichroic glass. The clasps and earrings are sterling silver.

Currently Mauimoon art can be found in eight galleries in Sweden and the USA, including Sargent's Fine Jewelry in Maui.
