Paula Nurse Designs

Born into a musical family, Paula Anne Nurse grew up in Hawaii singing in church and playing guitar. She entered the professional music scene as a back-up singer for the Don Ho Show in Waikiki, and for the next 25 years enjoyed a successful career in the entertainment industry.

Eventually drawn to the world of crystals and gemstones, Paula began designing jewelry under the trade name of Paula Nurse Designs in her home studio on the Big Island of Hawaii. She creates wearable art that utilizes the beauty & energy of 'high vibrational' gemstones such as rubies, emeralds, tanzanite, & sapphires collected from around the world.

Originality, design, and color are uniquely characteristic of Paula's artistry. She loves to work with all different types of beautiful and unusually cut gemstones. Each piece is an original creation designed and hand-made in Hawaii by Paula Nurse.
